Sea is rough in June, bathing be avoided: Chhipa


KARACHI: The Sea is very rough in the month of June and those who visit the beaches should avoid bathing.
This was pointed out by prominent social worker Ramzan Chhipa here yesterday.
A statement said that at a meeting, the Chhipa Sea Unit briefed that the sea is very rough in the month of June and the tide is between three and 3.5 meters high.
Therefore, there are chances of drowning of those who bathe in the sea during this period, it was further stated.
Ramzan asked the volunteers of the Chhipa Ambulance and divers to keep a vigilant eye and prevent people from bathing in the sea. He said that saving the human lives is the priority mission of the Chhipa Welfare.
Ramzan Chhipa also appealed to the people visiting the beaches for recreation to avoid bathing.
