Nasreen opens Sri Lankan stalls at ‘My Karachi’ exhibition


KARACHI: City Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil said yesterday that Karachi is attracting foreign investment due to effective measures taken by the City District Government Karachi (CDGK).
Inaugurating Sri Lanka’s stalls at My Karachi Oasis of Harmony exhibition at the Expo Center, she said that to get more foreign investment, she would continue raising voice against negative elements. Investment in industrial sector in Karachi will boost trading activities, she added.
Sri Lankan Consul General V.S. Sidath Kumar, President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anjum Nisar, Chairman Pak-Sri Lanka Business Forum Majid Aziz and the Secretary General Farukh Mazhar and Director General Trader Development Authority Pakistan Bashir Ahmed also spoke.
