KARACHI: Following the assassination of renowned cleric Dr Mufti Sarfraz Naeemi in a suicide attack at the Jamia Naeemia in Lahore on Friday, the situation in Karachi turned nasty as unidentified men started firing in various parts of the city. Despite the ban on pillion riding, the Karachi police being on high alert, snap checking and enhanced police patrolling, police officials were unable to control the situation as unidentified men wreaked havoc in the city, injuring many innocent people.
