The infuriated people staged protest and damaged medical equipments at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital owing to death of their relative who was allegedly killed by doctors’ negligence, private news channel reported on Monday morning.
According to sources, angry people damaged the medical equipments placed in emergency ward of hospital.
According to details, Shehzad, resident of North Nazimabad locality of Karachi, suddenly went unconscious outside his house on Sunday afternoon and was immediately rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, wherein; he died of alleged negligence rendered by doctors’ treatment, sources said.
Subsequently, the heirs and his relatives staged protest against doctors’ carelessness and damaged in rage, the glasses, windowpanes, and medical equipments present in emergency ward, sources added.
Later, police was called in who took under arrest as many as seven persons on charges of playing havoc with official material and hospital equipments, sources added.
